Colonel Bill Foote
Bill began his auction career in 1982 in as a $5 an hour employee; helping to set up, secure, and assist check out at auctions for one of the largest auction companies in Washington state.

He attained his auctioneer license in 1984 and operated in the industry, working with multiple companies as a “gun-for-hire” for the next decade.
​
For 7 years in the 90’s, he and his business partner, owned an auction company in Seattle until an opportunity presented itself to join a new, growing industry; live, online auction broadcasting.

After 2 years of operation, Amazon.com decided to close their auction division so Bill and a partner started a new chapter in the auction industry by forming BidSpotter.com (BSC); a company built by auctioneers, for auctioneers to allow real-time internet bidding at their live auctions.
​
BidSpotter.com’s 7-year, meteoric success drew the attention of a U.K. firm and the decision was made to sell BSC. Bill, once-retired, came back to action to assist the UK company transition into, and better understand, the U.S. auction industry.
After 15 years with this company, Bill and the Team parted ways with smiles and handshakes.
Now, not quite ready to retire again, the auction blood pumping through his veins has Bill beginning another auction company out of Texas. The relationships, contacts, and partnerships Bill has garnered over the past 40+ years create an auction recipe for success.
